Safety Engineer

In the Safety Engineer position, the successful candidate will:

  • Eliminate or control hazardous conditions resulting from human error, equipment and machine operations that may lead to human injury and/or property damage
  • Apply advanced mathematical techniques, professional engineering principles, methods and techniques; safety-related elements of the physical sciences, ergonomics, psychology and physiology; and safety principles, standards, practices and analytical techniques
  • Work environment is both office and non-climate controlled environment


  • Bachelor’s degree within a related competency
  • Five years safety management experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Completion of safety certifications preferred
  • Strong computer skills
  • Analytical skills with managing and maintaining metrics
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Proven communication and presentation skills within a training environment
  • Success creating a safety first work environment
  • Self-motivated
  • Demonstrated success with multi-tasking, creating, and delivering training programs
